Mall Cop vs Parkour

About
My adventure began with a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Auckland, New Zealand, where I not only discovered the beauty of different cultures but also cultivated a sense of purpose and determination.
Afterwards, I explored the world of YouTube, kickstarting a couple of channels and delving into the intricacies of filming parkour videos. During this time, I became friends with Ronnie Shalvis, a viral YouTube parkour athlete, and we partnered on a series of videos, some of which went viral with millions of views. This experience ignited my fascination with video editing and cinematography.

After my YouTube venture, I eagerly seized the opportunity to refine my skills and enrolled in DevMountain’s three-month UX Design Bootcamp. It was a natural progression — I had always been drawn to design, particularly inspired by Apple’s approach. Becoming part of one of DevMountain’s earliest UX cohorts was transformative, equipping me with the technical skills needed to excel in the world of design.
Post-graduation, I embarked on an internship with CHG Healthcare, contributing to the web marketing product team. That laid the foundation for my professional journey, and soon after I worked with a range of companies — including startups like Blackthorn Software — as well as freelance contract work. These experiences gave me dynamic, wide-ranging exposure to web marketing and app design.
So, that’s me in a nutshell. I thrive on the details, whether it’s crafting YouTube content, refining user interfaces, creating narratives through writing and book publishing, or my role as a husband and father.
